CONFIRMING THE CHAPTER 13 PLAN
If your plan covers that repayment of debts to your creditors and meets the requirements of the Bankruptcy Code, the court will confirm your Chapter 13 repayment plan. As long as you make all your plan payments and continue to pay your current living expenses (i.e., mortgage and car payments), the court will allow you to keep your property. The court confirms repayment plans for three (36 months) or 5 years (60 months).
